Everyone’s got junk in Union County, New Jersey—basements and attics full of old clothes, appliances that no longer work, outdated electronics, old furniture and stuff that you thought you’d use but never will. From Summit and Berkeley Heights to Plainfield and Westfield, Union county houses and apartments are full of excess junk. And that junk can seem pretty overwhelming at times. You’re not sure how to sort through it and get rid of it once and for all. But that’s where Junk-a-Haulics can help out. Let us come in and clean out the junk in your life, and restore peace and order to your homes, while recycling and repurposing perfectly good items that you no longer need and giving back to the community.
For one house in Plainfield, we were contacted by Back Home Safely, a home-modification company run by our friends Karen and Gregg Frank in Randolph. They were in the process of helping an elderly couple modify their house and install a wheelchair ramp, but could barely get inside the door. Years and years of unneeded and unwanted possessions were piled high, obstructing the hallways and doorways of this couple’s house. There was no way Karen and Gregg could make this home safe until the junk was sorted through and discarded. So our crew went in and within a day, we had it all cleaned out, allowing Back Home Safely to do their job in making the home wheelchair-accessible. The elderly couple is now safe within their Union County home.
At another residence in Union, a family desperately needed our help. Their parents had passed away and were in the process of filling three dumpsters. But their knees hurt from the weight of the junk, the physical nature of the work was taking a toll on their bodies, and they were starting to lose their minds loading all of the stuff into the dumpsters themselves. So they went back to the funeral home and got our contact information. We’ve been back there every other Saturday for the past two months helping them sort through the junk. Our Junk-a-Haulics crew does the physical labor so they don’t have to. They just point at what needs to be thrown out, and we take it from there. The unbearable process finally got done with our help.
Here are some reviews from our Union County junk removal clients:
“I had a great experience with Junk-A-Haulics! I needed to move an old couch out and a new one in; they were very communicative, prompt, and professional, and everyone on their team was a pleasure to interact with. I also really appreciate that they have relationships with non-profits, so they could either donate my old couch or recycle it responsibly if donation wasn’t an option. I highly recommend them!”—Valerie D., New Providence
“Awesome service! Jeff was not only timely in arrival, but he was able to haul out everything from my attic, from heavy boxes, desks, etc. The pricing was MUCH better than I had anticipated or gotten from other competitors. I would definitely recommend and use this service again!”—Alice C., Scotch Plains
“I’ve used Junk-A-Haulics for a number of clean-out jobs. These guys beat the ‘university kids’ franchise on price because they’re a local business that doesn’t have to pay a franchise license. Not only that, the owner of the business is PERSONALLY involved in the work, so you know the job is getting done right. It’s not just a bunch of kids farmed out by a national company. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.”—Aaron K., Roselle Park
