In recent years people on earth have become more concerned about the well being of the planet and have looked for ways to preserve its life so that humans can continue to live and strive. The Junk-A-Haulics team recognizes these concerns and we practice recycling habits on a regular, daily, basis. One of the most frequently asked questions we get is, what do we do with all the stuff we collect throughout the week. Well, while it would be very easy for us to finish a haul and throw it in the dump, we actually do NOT do that!! In order to help the environment we try to find another life or home for any item we take, although it is mostly furniture it is not limited to furniture. This process is more complicated than sounds. All the furniture comes back to our warehouse where it is carefully sorted and put back into our big box truck, which protects the furniture from the elements better than our “Junk” trucks. From there it gets personally delivered to any sort of donation center like the Habitat Restore in Randolph or Market Street Mission. This gives each donated item the opportunity for another family to enjoy it instead of being smashed up into little pieces and taking to a dump or land fill.
What can’t be donated gets recycled properly and organized by what materials that specific item is made up of. Don’t forget that while this process takes longer then just dumping it is something that the Junk-A-Haulics team is passionate about.
