Out with the old in with the new…
It is with a heavy heart, that we bid adieu to our original van and set it free in the junkyard.  We knew what we were getting into after spending $600 on it, but, we were smitten at first sight, the mildew, chipping paint and dent on the side, just added character. We knew it was just perfect for us. We imagined that we would only hold onto it for a couple of months, but it defied all expectations; it just kept going. Now, after many successful months, we decided it was time to let it go and invested in a new vehicle to handle the increasing workload.  It shall be missed dearly but it is in a better place now.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this point.  We look forward to keeping you junk and clutter free this spring.

What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.

Delbarton Appalachia Drive

Well, fellow Junk-A-Haulics, tis the season for giving and we’d like to tell you about a very special drive happening right in the area.  As many of you know, Delbarton School runs an annual Christmas Drive for needy families in Appalachia.  This is a very special opportunity for all of you Junk-A-Haulics out there to do something nice for a community in real need.  This event is going into it’s 31st year and continues to be a very rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Every year Delbarton Juniors and parents, along with seven 53 foot trailers, filled with toys, blankets, food and clothing, make their way down to Appalachia to bring some early Christmas joy to children and adults.  They spend a few days down there giving the items away and spreading holiday cheer. One Junior gets to play Santa and everyone else his elves, complete with full Santa and elf gear.  It’s truly an experience that no one forgets.

If you would like to donate to this wonderful cause, Junk-A-Haulics would be happy to help you get the items to Delbarton School, free of charge. You can either contact us through the phone at (908) 248-4285 or email us at contact@junkahaulics.com.  We hope you’ve got a few things around that are lightly used want to donate.  Happy Holidays!
